The Bering Sea Restaurant is a must for vistors to Nome! The food is very good and the view of the Bering Sea is right there! Visitors would do well to review based on rural Alaska restaurant options and be sure to rate accordingly. This place is awesome and everyone should eat here! Tonight we enjoyed the pork Bulgogi and the beef pho. Delish!
I really liked this place while in Nome. Don't be put off by the entrance (it looks pretty marginal) and it looks closed, but its not! We came for lunch and ordered the chicken teriyaki box with California roll and tempura. I was honestly surprised of how good it was. I am in Nome remember! Restaurants in Nome were hard to find. Nice view of the sea. We had the halibut and chips. We hoped for fresh fish and I believe that what we had was frozen. Rather dry. They had a rather diverse menu that featured a lot of Asian dishes and these may have been fresher.
