Disappointed with Online Ordering and Bland FoodWe were excited to try AK Best Philly's as the menu offered great options, and the convenience of online ordering for pick-up was appealing. However, the online ordering process left a bad taste in our mouth (figuratively!). At checkout, we were surprised to be prompted for a tip before receiving any service. Since it was pick-up, the tip felt unearned, and frankly, a bit pressured. We opted not to tip at that point.Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't much of a pick-me-up. The sandwiches seemed unbalanced, with an overwhelming amount of bread compared to the fillings. The taste was underwhelming overall, lacking any real flavor punch. To top it off, the salad arrived without dressing, adding to the general sense of blah.Overall, between the unexpected tip prompt and the disappointing food, we're unlikely to return.

Second time in. Fries are excellent. Daughter enjoyed her gyro. I ordered the Italian. It was fine but the sauce is not to my liking as I like a hint of sweetness to it. Was more like a mashed up meatball sub rather anything that should be categorized as a Philly. Next time I think Im going for a burger.

The best dang Philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had. The hogie bread was perfect. Nice and light and fluffy on the inside. Crunchy and crisp on the outside. The meat was cooked perfectly. Absolutely fantastic flavor

It was our first time here today & my torta de carnitas was perfect! I felt like I was back home! Chilè de Arbol sauce on my sandwich was a diamond on top! Albondigas soup was exquisite & just like abuelita used to make! I’m considering moving to Palmer so I don’t have to drive 2 & 1/2 hours every Friday & Saturday for my carnitas fix! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

We eat here about 2-3x a month and the quality is always great. Their customer service is the best! Everyone, including the owner, are so friendly. Their freshly baked conchas are delicious too! We do both take out and dine in. Today I ordered a carnitas burrito since it was their special. You can have it as a salad, taco, philly, quesadilla, or burrito. It was my first time ordering that and it's sooooo good! Our favorites are their mac & cheese philly, bbq philly, greek salad, potato salad, and Reuben. We have tried many more of their items but we always have at least one of these when we order.

This was the best food I've eaten in a very long time! I visited AK not long ago and have been dreaming of this place ever since. Once we move here we're definitely coming to eat here regularly.

There were 4 of us who visited for dinner and we all agreed their fries were some of the best we've had. Definitely crispy and well seasoned with the perfect amount of soft center. The steak and cheese sandwich I had was pretty good but not amazing. Mostly because the bread wasn't that fabulous. Bread kind of makes or breaks a sandwich even though it's never the star. The rest of the group had similar experiences with the mac and cheese steak sandwich and the gyro. Not bad but not great. So really really great fries, but the rest was just ok. Wait staff was good though, she was on top of things.
