Our group ended up having dinner at Caboose lounge from our driver who actually lives in Palmer. The restaurant wasn't busy but by it being in a small town, a group of 24 could have overwhelmed them but it did not. They have a large choice of food items and they serve breakfast all day. This is a nice quiet spot to come in off the road and have breakfast. Simple place, only 6 taps, but a good atmosphere to just vibe. Being attached to the Valley Hotel cafe, the full menu is also available.

Always used to love eating here. Haven't for a couple years and decided to take out a halibut and fries which used to be awesome. Left something to be desired and the coleslaw was inedible. But the corn fritters were still incredibly yummy!
