The food is elevated dive bar food. Burgers are to the go-to but their poutine and other bar snacks are wonderful. Best bloody mix in town. Staff are wonderful and honestly the reason I keep coming back. If Sabra is working she makes the best martini in the valley.

The Palmer Bar and Grill is a charming spot off the tourist path, offering a pleasant stop for visitors to Palmer. The new owners are from the Double Musky and the food is fabulous, featuring some of the best burgers in the valley and wings that you’ll ever have. Friendly bartenders provide excellent service, making guests feel like family. The establishment serves up tasty burgers with a great char, and the selection of Alaskan craft beers is reasonably priced and always flowing. The atmosphere hasn’t changed much with the new owners, keeping the local vibe intact. Guests can watch their food being prepared right in the bar, adding to the experience. Whether stopping by for a drink, a meal, or even great mocktails, the friendly staff will make everyone feel right at home. Quick service and good food, including delicious churros filled with cream cheese and served with berry compote and whipped cream, make it a perfect place to soak up the small-town atmosphere.
