Lobby smelled clean and fresh. Yes there was no one at reception just a phone number to call and they sorted out registration and e-keys. Different but it seemed to go smoothly.Pros:Great location smack dab in the middle of Palmer next to a little park and close to a few food places.Water pressure in the shower was pretty great.Loved the alarm clock tech station, had a charging cradle for my phone and a time display that you could aim at the ceiling; it was fun.Bed and pillows...read full review
After a long day in Katmai, my husband and I stopped here to stay the night. The elevator did not go all the way to the third floor. Our room had a scenic mountain view. The room was specious. The pillows were very fluffy. There is no breakfast in the morning, but breakfast is available at a restaurant next door.

Here's the deal, this is absolutely a no frills place. But it was priced accordingly. Clean room. Low cost. And there is a coin op laundry on the second floor. $2 for each wash and dry, totally worth it for me. No one at the desk, ever. But for $115 a night and right in downtown Palmer where I needed to be, I'd go again.
