Went for dinner in the cafe. Not there for the hotel so cannot answer questions about that.
This hotel is well-run. The staff care with excellent customer service, clean and well-maintained in the rooms and cafe. Care and kindness is evident in the operations. It’s an older hotel and well maintained with nice wood decor- - wood bed frames, shelves and decor.

Valley Hotel & 24/7 Open Café offers a vast menu with daily specials and generous portions. The service is attentive, with friendly staff doing their best. The biscuits and gravy are loved by many, and the pancakes are great, along with perfect OM eggs with bright orange/yellow yolks. The Chicken Fried Steak and Bacon Chicken Breast sandwich remain tasty favorites. For lunch, the hush puppies, grilled ham and cheese, and twice baked potatoes are absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is a convenient stop for those enjoying nearby downtown Palmer activities. The Caboose Lounge within the restaurant continues to serve delicious dishes with great portion sizes. Many customers have praised the food as always being very good and offering great helpings. The availability of dining at any time of the day or night is appreciated, and the coffee is noted to be smooth and enjoyable.
