“Sweet Gypsy is a welcome alternative dining space in the Valley. I'm a big fan of all my menu choices so far, except for the disappointing meat calzone. The salads are superb! I usually take home dessert for later, and they don't disappoint. I especially loved their version of carrot cake, but I try something different each time, and they are all great. I live a long way from Palmer, and SG will continue to draw me back. Give it a try.“

“My husband forgot half of our order when he picked it up. We went back and the entire staff was do incredibly friendly and helpful. My initial shock at their very youthful appearance quickly turned to admiration for their ability to work together as a team. The kids are alright!“

“Between running kids around, juggling businesses, and trying to keep life moving, having a GREAT local pizza place nearby is basically a survival tool at this point. 😂🍕 This spot has become one of our family favorites! The pizza is always delicious, fresh, and consistently good — and the people there are just as wonderful as the food. You can feel the community vibe the second you walk in. As a local business owner myself, I absolutely love supporting other small businesses that pour so much heart into what they do. “Rooms are small and slightly our dated, there is no microwave or coffee pot. Some have a small fridge but not all the rooms do. Some rooms only have showers and not a tub. They are connected to the restaurant so you can get coffee from there but for the price and normal availability of rooms it’s one of the better places in Palmer and Wasilla.“

“Their hearty meaty grilled cheese (can't remember what it was called) was damn delicious. Good burgers, too. We ate there back to back nights despite staying in Anchorage. Also got to see an amazing show with Buffalo Traffic Jam. Awesome outdoor area with the stage and mountains as the backdrop. One of our Alaska favorites.“

“Great Alaska pizza company does not really hit the spot for me. I ordered a 12 inch pepperoni pizza, and the overall quality of it feels pretty lackluster for the price of it. The service however was great, I ordered online and my food was ready by the time I arrived, and it was easy to collect. I would recommend trying this place, because you may end up liking it, but it's just not for me.“
