An iconic 75-year-old hotel and restaurant near the Palmer Train Depot with a view of the mountains, good food, and great service.

We went to the Caboose Lounge. We ordered Chicken Fried Steak and the Bacon Chicken Breast sandwich with Swiss and a mimosa.Good food. I would get those again.Patrick is a great server/bartender. He's attentive and nice.We haven't been disappointed yet ?Enjoy ?

I have never stayed at Valley Hotel. I've only eaten at the restaurant. The staff is always nice and I believe it's Wednesday or Thursday they have Hungarian mushroom soup that is so amazing.Food & drinks: They have great coffee, breakfast, soup and pie.

one of the biggest reasons i go to this restaurant is for their amazing ranch. unfortunately it looks like they’ve changed it. i wouldn’t mind paying extra for them to get their old ranch back :/ disappointing.

Service was good. But I’m upset about the ranch. Their ranch was different and didn’t taste right. I’m willing to pay more for better ranch, but couldn’t enjoy my food with this distasteful dressing.

Over priced rooms, especially for having MICE in them. Told Front desk about the problem, and they gave me a mouse trap but no bait and basically told me to deal with it myself. The refrigerator didnt work, really unprofessional staff, doesnt seem like the owner cares if drug addicts/ criminals work here. Lack-luster (not to mention cheap frozen) tasting food, a “bigger” sized waitress with short black hair recking of alcohol dead asleep in booths and when i tried to get her attention to pay out, she remained asleep. The diner was disgusting (probably source of why theres so many mice running around)Terrible experience, would only recommend to people that i hate truly.Usually i don’t leave reviews, but i don’t want other people to feel as ill as i did afterwards. 0 stars if i could, yikes!!Rooms: Small, poorly constructed, poorly maintained, and did i mention mice?!Safety: Mice in rooms, undoubtedly in the diner area tooFood & drinks: Frozen low quality food, heated up and probably spit in by people i can only assume have all done lengthy prison stays

Love eating here when we are in Palmer! Great food in a very nice atmosphere. Server's are nice and friendly too.We have never stayed in the room, though.Walkability: Nearby to great stores, the Old train depot, post office, Fred Myers.Noteworthy details: On the Christmas parade route and has a great view of the Palmer tower and mountains.

Mid overall. didn't stay at the place overnight or anything so you'll just have to see for yourself. Mid food, long wait time, bad prices. Probably won't go again.

Always a fun place to go eat at 2am, food is not super high quality, but it works when it's 2am ?

Only went to the 24/7 Cafe for breakfast and wasn't really impressed. The main problem was the waitress not providing good service. We asked for extra napkins in the beginning to clean the table ourselves and she said she would bring them and we never got them the whole visit. We had two orders of French toast and she sat one of the orders down on top of mine so she could separate the orders. Was offered more coffee and Dr Pepper that we didn't get until we were completely done eating and just ready to leave. I've heard good things about this place but definitely need a different waitress next time.
