It’s a bar, with a condensed menu from a Mexican restaurant.
The waitresses were super busy; the place was understaffed. Management needs to better manage that. The kitchen forgot to make an entire meal for our table. They forgot to make an appetizer and a meal from the table next to us. No fault of the waitresses because they were short staffed, but we waited an incredibly long time between them coming to the table. We had been done eating for 30 minutes before she came back to check on us. Multiple people from our group had to go to the bar to ask her for whatever it was we needed (drinks, food that was ordered, the check, to-go boxes).
The waitresses were phenomenal, the food was so-so, the place is a dirty bar. Overall, I would NOT go back for food. It used to be wonderful for food and we would bring the whole family. Not sure what happened but it has gone way downhill.

Our server initially greeted us and sat us with menus and drinks, then proceeded to leave us sitting for over 30 minutes taking orders of two tables that came in after us. Mind you, we were sitting at the long bar height table in the middle of the room. My husband finally went to the counter to tell him we were ready to order, and he asked my husband for here or to go, then seemed surprised that we were sitting there when my husband pointed at us. He took our order, and the table next to ours, and probably 15 minutes later went back to the table next to us to take their order again. He had accidentally thrown away their order slip. Their food took at least an hour to get to them after every other table had gotten their food. The only saving grace of the whole experience was the poor woman helping out from the bar side, who we tipped separately to make sure she didn’t get shafted if she had to share tips with the guy supposed to be doing the job.
The cooks were doing their jobs, we had no issues except with the server.

*I'd drink there, but i wouldn't eat there. *
Met some friends here for dinner. Hostess and bartender were great. Very good service. Nice atmosphere as well. But the food..... ummm no. Little to no sauce, very dry, very tasteless. Do not recommend.

Visiting from Fairbanks and this was a gem. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Enjoyed the banter with our server and the jalapeno margaritas were delicious! The cook was great! Appreciated this at the end of a long day from being outside. If I am back in town from Fairbanks will be stopping here again!

I had the shrimp tacos. I guess I was expecting more of a fresh taste to them and I should have looked at the description better. They were basically a fajita taco. It was good flavor but a little oily. I like green salsa and they only had red but green chalula worked out. So overall it was a good meal. Great service

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and bartenders on a Thursday night! The kj was wonderful and she did an amazing job with voice stabilizing! I just missed the food cutoff to try anything but I'll be honest, what came out the kitchen looked scrumptiously delicious (i was tempted to steal someone's tacos!)

Garcia’s has only been open a couple of months and they are hands down the best Mexican food in Palmer. It’s not even close. They are vying for best in the valley.

Great food, the Mexican Poutine was awesome(they call it Carne Asada Skillet Fries, but you can’t fool me). 34 oz beers reminded me of the Maß(1 liter) we used to get in Germany. Beer menu and regular menu in the pics. Little loud from the bar next door but always friendly service.

Service was very friendly! Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich w/homemade fries, Strawberry Margarita and I had Mango margarita with 1 Cheese enchilada & a beef enchilada. EVERYTHING was delicious! Hubs wanted me to point out it was the best fries and Pulled Pork he’s had in a long time.
I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was probably the worst burrito I’ve ever eaten, but what can you say it’s Mexican food in Palmer… funny thing is that they confirmed the meat in my burrito was “carne asada” I’m not sure they actually know what type of steak they need to use or how to marinate the meat…. Omg
