I tried this place for the first time at the Alaska state fair. I had the alligator and french fry plate. I was really excited for the alligator because I had only ever sampled it once a few years ago. I was weary of paying $23, but decided to go ahead and spend the money since it was a fun day at the fair. I have to say I was un-pleasantly shocked when I opened up my food container. I moved out of Louisiana back in 2020 and this is hands down the most authentic Cajun food I've found since then. The boudin was amazing and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly, not to mention the customer service experience was a 10/10. Bobby and Jeanean have a customer for life!
Their gumbo is amazing and will warm your soul from the inside! Best option to get you warmed up on a cold windy day!
