As others have noted, slow service (>1 hour wait to get our food), and mediocre delivery (fish was overcooked).

I've been here multiple times and have also done take out. The food has always been super delicious. The cooks know what they are doing! Love the Moussaka, the Sun Salad, and the Scaloppine Ai Funghi! All great options! The servers are super friendly and kind, but I will say the service can be fairly slow. I don't know why, but every time I've been I feel like I'm always waiting long periods of time for something but everything always turns out great so whatcha gonna do?

We had a delicious breakfast here so came back for dinner. Hubby had cauliflower soup and beef stew. Both excellent! My steak salad was simply delicious! Maybe best I’ve had and I get it a lot. Service was fast and friendly! Don’t miss this place in Palmer.

Wonderful food. The sandwiches are large and delicious and the soup seasoned to perfection. The hot tea choices are amazing and the baked goods are pretty as well as delicious. The staff is really busy but always friendly and helpful. Waited a bit for a table, but waiter came quickly.

Loved my polenta today. Each of us enjoyed what we chose and loved the service. The bread service was delicious. We even took some with us. If I’m ever in Palmer again, I’ll definitely hit them up.

I’ve been here now three times and I can say that I will never bring anyone there again, nor will I, myself, ever eat there again. The very first time I went, it was amazing- I have gone back twice hoping for that same food/service and haven’t had it. The food has been sub par at BEST, hot salads, cold steaks, when asked for things on the side they won’t. The kitchen also seems to hate everything- just SLAMMING the bell, hundreds of times and the most upset individuals I’ve ever seen. Which only makes for a very hostile work environment for the front of house- all of them seemed to be on their toes. The front was very pleasant despite everything.
I’ve given them 3 chances and was sad to report that I will never be back, they have so much potential.

Avoid if you’re looking for lunch in Palmer. Food was awful and teas and coffees even worse. Staff were so rude and very chaotic environment.

Had a lovely visit to the restaurant, with 40+ guests. Food was good, service was great, except the team was short 4 seats. Once we shoehorned them in, all went well. Bread was amazing, sandwiches were good, but needed larger slices. Just a bit narrow and lots left over.

I ordered eggplant stew with chicken. The chicken was stale, the eggplant was sour. My stomach hurt right away. The cooks were cooking without gloves, I looked into the kitchen through the window. This is our first time here and we won't come back. The burger was dry.

We had a delicious dinner after hiking the Matanuska Glacier. From fresh outdoors to fresh food! Turkey Red has an interesting menu and fabulous flavors from appetizer thru to dessert. Prices were reasonable for a locally sourced and freshly prepared meal. We would return here again if we're ever back in the area!

The owner has turned off the EV chargers without warning or even a sign on them. :(
I guess I won't be eating at Turkey Red with my friends and family for awhile. Unfortunately, people are not going to contribute unless compelled to do so.
Food here is good and so is the place, but honestly I ate here for the EV charging.

Terrible experience. Waitress almost completely ignored us in favor of people in her age group. It was obvious and intentional. Waited 1 hour for our food. There was a hair in one of the sandwiches. We were so thoroughly ignored we had to go to the cashier and help him find our check. Will not be back .

There were a number of red flags from the start (slow service, even just for drinks; out of more than 3 things we requested, etc), but the biggest complaint would be the salmon we ordered, which was expensive ($38) yet overcooked to the point of being dry. It was absolutely not worth the price. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We went to turkey red on a long Alaskan vacation, when we heard about them from a YouTouber. Upon arrival it was nice. After sitting we were greeted by a waiter who unfortunately had a body odor issue that was VERY off putting for a place that serves food. We are very polite so we still ordered. Our appetizer arrived and had a hair in the Brie cheese… and a water that was poured had floaters in it. We had to request fresh glasses. This was a super disappointing meal and was the WORST on our trip out of 9 days and multiple restaurants. I don’t generally do reviews unless it’s deserving…
