Because this is a local, woman-owned business, and because the service and atmosphere were wonderful, I’d love to give Ludvig’s a five-star review but based on the food and value I simply cannot. The starters — scallops and artichokes — were incredible! The main courses were disappointing. The truffle pasta was bland, not something you’d expect with a truffle meal, and the Sicilian pesto pasta was bitter.

And, the meal was nearly $300. For 2 people....

Rarely do I leave a poor review but unfortunately we were deeply disappointed with our experience. We decided to dine at Ludvig’s to treat ourselves hoping it would be a high quality meal especially considering the price point. Unfortunately this was not the case. We paid a fortune and the food left a lot to be desired, and we ordered a ton of food! The bread was stale, the arancini’s rice was undercooked, the paella was bland, my pasta had an overwhelming amount of sauce,...

Weird atmosphere. Dishes were super unique and cool, but not the most delicious food I’ve had. Pretty pricey, but knew that going in. Our waiter Christian was very good. Knowledgeable about the dishes and attentive. Sat on the covered deck expecting great view, but view was just okay.
