The Queen of Sitka Eateries
There aren't a lot of restaurant options in Sitka, Alaska, but one is enough when that one is the Mean Queen. It merits a recommendation for the wonderful view alone. The second floor bar / dining room offers the towns best spot to take in the harbor and surrounding bay. This place has gluten free pizza, buns, and a dedicated fryer for GF fries, wings, ect according to the waitress. I had a burger with GF bun and fries with no problems. The bun does fall apart as most GF buns do. The wait staff were friendly, accommodating, very busy and took one of our orders to the wrong table. Overall, it was worth the wait for our food it was delicious and I would go again.
