“This was part of a cruise ship excursion, and way off the beaten path, in the woods. A corny entertainment by non professionals, who did try. Food was a cake snack, and powdered beverage. The highlight was organized gold panning, with a tutorial. I did find three tiny flecks of gold in the pan of dirt I was given, and others around me did similarly. I suspect the pans were seeded, with just enough so all were mildly successful. The whole point was to learn the process, and that successful process was enjoyable. This experience was a small part of a cruise ship excursion.“
