I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop, the Soldotna location specifically!! Anytime I have a craving for a lotus I come straight here (and I live out in Nikiski and with these gas prices that's saying something) ?! The ladies that work there are all absolutely amazing, super sweet, very professional and they even give great suggestions when I wanna spice things up from my normal order ?, I go at least once a week to order a blue lotus with cream,Mango,pineapple, and passionfruit...
I went here yesterday and had an amazing experience. Today not so much. I ordered off their iced tea menu and got handed a hot drink. I told the girl I thought it came iced since it was on the iced tea menu and she rudely said "no it doesn't" my London fog tastes like hot cream. Not sweet and no taste of tea. Stopped for soft serve ice cream. Yoiu can't miss the building that looks like a giant cone on the right side heading west. We got waffle cones with 2 flavors. I got the large for $5 and my wife got the medium for $4.50. The medium was more than enough. This included the tax and they were huge. The ice cream was great and these cones would have been a bargain anywhere but particularly in Alaska. The couple running the place were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them....
