The sandwiches are SO good! We called in our order on the drive from Homer to Anchorage. We called it in at Nikiski which was roughly 30 minutes to Odie's. Worked out perfectly. Our food was ready when we arrived and we sat down to eat. Highly recommend calling in ahead to avoid the wait when you arrive. Friendly service. DELICIOUS food. We ordered the Mel and the Club. I love this place! I had order just a few items shy of every side and meat option you could add to the sandwich without even realizing I just kinda got carried away dreaming about it. Anyway I thought they'd put a little bit of everything on there-- NOPE they loooaded that bad boy up I probably had a 3.5in tall sandwhich I mean this thing was massive! This place is always so busy! Long long line but the food is excellent. I love the Mel's sandwich which has the cranberry sauce on it. Yummy and worth the wait. And I'm very picky about my caesar salad dressing and this place has one of the best tasting.
