Super cute hometown coffee shop and bakery with great cozy vibes and delicious savory and sweet baked goods, sandwiches, soup, and more. They also have gluten free flat bread that can be subbed for the sandwiches!

The cashier wouldn't give me a printed receipt. The food came out cold--twice!

Go for the baked goods, but pass on the pizza. We've been multiple times over the years for lunch and stopped in to try dinner service for the first time. The pizza crust was light and flakey, wood fired, but the toppings and overall taste left something to be desired. Pizza sauce was watery, cheese texture wasn't quite right. We opted to add chicken, which was very dry and skimpy, for having paid extra for it. Didn't end up finishing the meal.

High prices and poor quality made the long wait in line worse.

Location is great and next to some scenic trails. Ambience is worth coming for. Talkeetna toast(veg version) and “Trust me I am vegan” sandwich were good but not as great as recommended. Almond apricot Rugelach and hot chocolate were nice.
Be sure to come early in the day for Burritos. They get over too soon.

This shop is an iconic place in Talkeetna. Today I stopped by and bought an oat bread loaf. Incredibly yummy.

Bought 5 items to go. Sausage quiche, ginger pecan bar, lemon barley cookie, rugelach, and carrot cake. First the good. Carrot cake was moist with nice flavor and texture, frosting was light and not too sweet. Apricot rugelach was tasty (they had different name for this pastry) with a nice filling and great apricot flavor, the outer crust had nice flavor and texture. The quiche was ok but not outstanding. The ginger pecan bar texture was too squishy and could not taste any ginger and the lemon barley cookie lacked flavor of any kind.
