Overpriced, sell some Costco items like muffins and water but good and unique ice cream. Fireweed ice cream is from the Alaskan fireweed flower that blooms in the summer, with chunks of waffle cone mixed in.
It was funny because we decided on getting ice cream and hadn’t read any reviews. There was no line to tip us off that this was a favorite spot for many. So we just chose from the multiple unique flavors. My first taste was pistachio-almond. It was shockingly good. It was only then that we learned we stumbled on some fantastic ice cream. After reading the reviews we decided to ride into town from our Cache Cabin and give it a try. We shared a scoop of Firewood Crunch and it was plenty for both of us. The crunchy pieces of waffle cone inside were great. Would definitely come back again.
