Our sweet server Maria from Macedonia was precious! Smart Efficient Friendly and Professional.
Skip it. The waiter was pleasant. The view was pretty. It was cold and the food was sub par. I feel bad giving a poor review but they're catering to the one stop cruise crowd. I concur with another reviewer on here that you'd be better off going to a brewpub. The cost of dinner was the price of the plane ticket to get here. We wouldn't recommend it. The food was best described as listless.
Excellent food. 4 course menu was very nice. White king Salmon for our main course was fun treat. Nice treat to have a spectator award in Talkeetna. Really enjoyed the food.
our food was cold and my daughter's duck was all fat and tasted bad. she ate 2 bites. she got ill at 4am. can't definitely say it was the food but....The server told me she could warm our food up... IN THE MICROWAVE. This is fine dining? The manager offered us a dessert. ummm it's a fixed price menu and you have to get dessert. it's included. I was shocked to get our bill for the full price. We did not eat our meals. I will not send food back to the kitchen because I have worked in restaurants and know what could happen. I did not say anything further and paid the bill. I regret not asking for some kind of compensation. They didn't even offer us a glass of wine. Stay away.
The setting was upscale yet relaxed and has very pretty views. Our server, Danny, was both professional and informative. The tasting menu items were all superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairing. The best meal we've had in Alaska thus far.
We weren't offered the regular menu; only the pre fixe menu at $90. They also did not tell us that we could skip one of the courses and reduce the price by $20. A little deceiving.
Excellent food and service. The cocktails were very good. We did thd 3 course meal and every course was well prepared and presented.
We didn't realize it was a pre fixe menus. My partner had a queezy stomach. Our FANTASTIC waitress Tammy worked with us to make us both happy. But beyond that her service was unmatched. We are both very well travelled and recognize excellent service when it's given ( rare these days!!) but TAmmy surpassed excellent!!! Thank you.
From the hostess to the server, we were treated kindly! Being a Foraker, we had to experience the Foraker Restaurant!
Truly not a good dining experience. The waiter was unresponsive, got our order wrong. The food was okay, nothing to write home about, but it certainly carried a hefty price tag. Honestly, you're better off going in to town and eating at Denali Brewpub. You'll get better food and better service at a more reasonable price point. The only thing you'll miss are the views.

The acoustics are horrible, the service was slow and the food is good. But with drinks it is expensive
The crab bisque was delicious & ribeye was a large portion and really good! We sat on the deck after and watched views of Denali with a glass of wine. Can't wait to go back!
Our food was very unique, with many Alaskan flavors My husband had the duck and I have the salmon with was very good. The scallops were my least favorite of my courses and would not order them again. My husband ordered the oysters on the half shell, he is used to eating Louisiana oysters, theses were very dry and small. We would absolutely eat there again the view was spectacular and the service was over the top. I would highly recommend getting the wine pairing with your meal.
Food was wonderful! Great view and Stefan was a very attentive server.
Very small portions. All of our steaks were overcooked. Service was slow. The prices were ridiculous. Will not be back.
