Very tasty food. There were five of us and we had dinner. The cleanliness of the restaurant could generally be better and a new coat of paint would do the somewhat damaged shop some good. The food tasted wonderful. Happy to recommend. We had a lovely evening in a rustic, bistro-like atmosphere.

The smoked salmon dip and bloody mermaid were delicious. Reynosa took care of us and it was nice chatting with her about local life in Valdez.

They told us only serving pizza ?. I clearly saw other people ordering other types of food. We had a deaf elderly woman with us & asked for a:seat with better lighting so my son could sign language and she can see. No avail. It fell on " deaf " ears. A couple hears our request & politely changed seats. Kindness is free. Thanks to that couple. My son is former Marine & the deaf grandmother is former CIA " the agency " . Good thing they treated us the way we looked bc we didn't ask for special treatment just a table with better lighting.

I have eaten here before and food was good service was not to shabby...one of the few restaurants open after 8 on any night In Valdez...this last time we were thrown out because they had a whole line of people who were not there wen we walked in and there was no hostess there to seat us and their wait to be seated sign we did not see lol...but all in all go have your own experience cause the food is good...
