“We went the other day and the food was delicious...BUT, on Tuesday night (5/19/26 @ 7ish), the thin hostess with the dyed dark red hair gave us a rude welcome and sat us and we didnt get waited on for 20 minutes. Don't know the girl but she sure acted like she knew us. Strange experience. Disappointed that she sat us and didn't say anything to anyone. The waitress was super apologetic.“

“My son and I stopped by Zushi for a quick lunch while visiting Wasilla, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip.
When we arrived, there was a sign on the door indicating they were currently offering to-go orders only. That wasn’t a problem for us—we figured we’d grab our food and find a nice spot outside to enjoy it since the weather was beautiful. After placing our order, we were told it would be about 20–30 minutes, so we sat down near the window to wait.
A few minutes later, the staff member who took our order came over and kindly offered us drinks, salad, and soup while we waited. We were genuinely touched by the gesture, especially since they weren’t operating as a dine-in restaurant at the time.
When our food was ready, she went a step further and invited us to stay and enjoy our meal there. As visitors staying outside of town, that was incredibly appreciated and made our afternoon so much easier.
The sushi itself was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and authentically done. Every bite was delicious, and you could tell great care went into both the food and the customer experience.
I do want to note that we don’t expect or want others to assume they’ll receive the same accommodations during a to-go-only period. We simply wanted to recognize the exceptional kindness and hospitality shown to us that day.
If you’re looking for excellent sushi and genuinely caring people, we highly recommend Zushi.“
