We stopped in first thing in the morning after an overnight drive from Fairbanks and this was the best coffee shop we could have chosen!! Absolutely the best white Mocha and spiced Chai we have had in a long time, and super yummy muffins too. The guy running it was also super friendly and gave us restaurant recommendations and told us where to find the cheapest gas in the area. Definitely going to be our go to shop every time we drive down from now on!!

Toasted Joe's Coffee is a cute and great small coffee and food shack on the side of the highway on the way up to Talkeetna. The drinks are delicious, with excellent coffee, and the prices are very reasonable—some say at unheard of prices. Absolutely the best white Mocha and spiced Chai, plus super yummy muffins. Other favorites include a caramel Frappe, vanilla matcha latte, German chocolate mocha, a mocha, a dirty iced chai, and the Pineberry/Passionfruit Redbull smoothie, which is AMAZING. The customer service is absolutely amazing, always nice and friendly conversation, from the lovely couple who owns it. They are super friendly and give restaurant recommendations and tell you where to find the cheapest gas in the area. This is a favorite place in the entire area to get drinks, with some of the best tasting coffees and smoothies ever had. The food and bakery items are also great. Highly recommend it, and it is the go-to shop for many.
