Great place

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! And we visit a little of Mexican places. The stuffed baked potato was something new for me in a Mexican restaurant and it was amazing!!!

My grandma and I both got the veggie burrito, it was excellent! Prices were great, we were quickly served chips and salsa, and got our drinks almost immediately. Food wait time was fast too! Great service and great food - Joel was kind. Loved the ceiling that was covered with hats and baskets. Great Mexican food!

Food and atmosphere was OK. It was crowded and it took a while for them to take our orders. Ordered a mango magarita pitcher to share and was able to get a total if 6 glasses full from the pitcher. I had 3 glasses myself and there was absolutely no alcohol in the drinks. Very dissatisfied

It's your typical place for Tex Mex. Seems to be well run. Solid value on the menu.
Better/nicer building than most....I think it started life as a Ruby Tuesday.
Nothing besides the usual suspects offered, but that's fine. Why not?

The food is tasty! Their decorations inside is vibrant, very Mexican fiesta! But most importantly the staff are very accomodating and friendly!

Kid-friendliness: We were traveling from Troy AL and heading back home to TN when we stopped at Albaster AL to charge our car and to eat, and that's how we found Barrio Fiesta! We enjoyed the food and back on the road tummy full. We are couple of miles out when my daughter found out her bear is not with us, she brought it with her in the restaurant or almost everywhere she go, so I called Barrio Fiesta to check if we left it in the bathroom or on her seat, and thankfully they found it! It was pink rainbow carebear she love since she was a baby so it's really her first bestie.
The manager Javier Melendez and his team went above and beyond for my daughter, without hesitation he promised to send the bear back to us in Tennessee! I offered to pay for his time and the shipping but he is so kind he declined my offer.
We appreciate the kind gesture!

You can see this place from about 5 miles away!!! Someone there likes colorful lights! Wait until you get inside, the place is wildly decorated. Food is good! Margaritas could use a better mix, but it's all affordable also!

Be ye warned!! This restaurant thinks it's funny to smash a hidden saucer of whip cream in your face after they have placed the sombrero on your head & sang happy birthday. As a 66 year old woman, I can honestly say I was shocked that they did this. Of course, everyone thought this was funny, at my expense. It was not to me!!!

Restaurant had unique festive decor. Food came out fast and was delicious .Drinks were great .
Restrooms were clean. Would have given 5 stars but the waiter tried to take my plate before I was done.

Vegetarian options: All options include spinach which can be replaced or left off all together.

The moment I walked in, the first thing that caught my eye was the ceiling! I loved the atmosphere here so much. Our server was very nice and our food was amazing!

I see what’s going on‼️‼️ All the white ppl gets the best service, the best food! Unless their taste buds are off and just don’t know what food is supposed to taste like! This restaurant food is disgusting! I still have a nasty taste in my mouth! I will never return! I don’t like their vybe in there! It’s a dark vybe! Black ppl I don’t think they like serving us! The best Mexican restaurant in Alabaster is fiesta tacos in Alabaster is fresh and is super good and I love their hospitality! Amaya and this Restaurant needs to be shut down!

I hate to give a bad report on this location, the female employee snatched my money out of my hand! Told her clearly what I wanted, they have me salad without the dressing I ask for. She asked was i dinning in or takeout, I said dinning in. I was seated for less that 10 mins, a male employee came out with my food in to go boxes! I was confused because I clearly said I’m dinning in. The female employee at the front came to me and made me feel like I couldn’t dine in! I was really confused! I was worried about them playing over my food so I figured to avoid that, I rather just take it and go.When I get to my destination, they had my beans, rice and quesadilla all touching each other. Not in individual slots! That’s a no no, I’m not a dog! When I started eating, I noticed the food had a funny taste! Food was disgusting!!!!! I will never return again! That’s what I get for trying a New Mexican restaurant instead of going to fiesta tacos in Alabaster in the shopping center where American thrift store is! They are the best around town! They are clean, food is fresh and it’s good every time!!!! I spent $23 and change on food I can’t even eat! That place even have a little smell to it as well! That place need to be shut down! Ain’t no way their still in business! Plus they gave racist vybes????
