Finally tried this place and it was everything!! Pork was delicious. Sauce was phenomenal but those onion rings mmmm sooo good!! It was gone so fast I forgot I get pictures. We will be going back though and we're trying the burgers next time ?
If you want delicious, no frills BBQ and sides, and you're in the Pelham/Helena/Alabaster area, you must make a trip to Buddy's at least once. The perfectly prepared BBQ pork sandwich is a generous serving (falling off the bun), and the sauce is delicious without being too sweet. Same goes for the baked beans. Regulars recommended the beef, and the ribs. Buddy's brags about their gigantic "almost a pound" burgers. I can't wait to try the okra on my next visit! My recommendation:...read full review

This place has been around longer than I've been alive and I'm 42. If that doesn't tell you anything about the food then I don't know what else to say. I love the rib Sandwich and homemade banana pudding.
