I was in the mood for Chinese food and decided to give Hunan Garden 2 a try. From the outside, the place looks a little rough, and the interior is very basic. There’s one table and the rest of the space is wide open, so it’s clearly more focused on takeout than dine-in. That said, where this place truly shines is in the food.

We called in our order ahead of time, and when I arrived, I was greeted by a young lady who appeared to be the owner’s daughter. I told her who I was and what I was there to pick up, and she was very kind, polite, and welcoming. She even asked if we needed any extra sauces before going straight to work gathering our order.

We ordered beef lo mein, beef fried rice, sesame chicken, and vegetable fried rice. The portions were large, very filling, and well worth the price. The flavors were bold, fresh, and absolutely delicious—everything tasted like it was made with care.

As long as you’re planning to take your food home, Hunan Garden 2 is a great choice for anyone in the area looking for satisfying Chinese food with generous portions and great flavor.

I made the call in order at 6:42 and was told it would be 15 mins. I went in told them I was there and saw 4 people enter and leave before me including the lady that ordered in person at 6:50pm. I didn’t get my food until 7:18pm. Before tonight service was on point but tonight there was an exceptional wait and it was unfair that I called in and received my food last.

This was hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. The place is dingy and all of the food was so overcooked parts were hard and inedible. My advice would be to avoid this place and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

The Szechuan Chicken was extremely underwhelming. 90% of the dish was i think cabbage and the flavor was very odd(personal preference) and the chicken had a wet consistency like it was boiled and set in water. The picture makes it look good but don't be fooled. Those aren't noodles in the pic either.

Keep It Simple Stupid
Kiss method if you will
These people will sell you one thing and you receive another…ok call ask about it their response yea we have two same things on the menu called the exact same thing but you ordered wrong *click*
Just because the physical atmosphere is crappy doesn’t mean your attitude has to be
I have ordered the fried version many times and never a problem why I got a saucy mess today…I guess we will never know🥺😒
I wouldn’t have said anything if she wouldn’t have been so rude and helped me fix it I even offered to pay to re make what I wanted she has he own way of doing things

Left out spring rolls I paid for in to go order... Food is too expensive to be leaving things out that people paid for. This place was completely empty when I went there's no reason orders should be going out wrong....so annoying won't be back just for that reason... Was looking forward to my food I paid for

We have been getting food here ever since they opened.
We have watched their girls grow up and they have always been a pleasure.
Our order has always been correct, on time, and hot. We usually get some type of Fried Rice, hot & sour soup, and egg rolls. Always prepared properly, can’t beat the Hot & Sour Soup!

They are great at pickup orders. Not really a sit down environment, but ordering to go is great.

My husband's sesame chicken was like eating leather. It had no taste. We will definitely not order from here again.

I don't enjoy posting negative reviews however this place was really awful. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, Sesame chicken, general tsos and lo mein. All of the dishes were tasteless. Sweet and sour chicken was dry. Horrible. Will never order from here again. We couldn't even eat the food.

This restaurant was probably booming before 2020. They have beautiful Chinese carvings and framed art. Now, two doorways are walled over bc other businesses are renting those spaces. They have a table with chairs in the lobby, but it is unclear if it is for waiting at or eating. I assume it's take out only now like many other Chinese establishments. I gave it a 3 on the food bc the fried rice I ordered tasted like plain whole wheat rice. I had to refry it with scrambled eggs, ginger, garlic and soy sauce to make it taste like what I expected.
