Since moving to Alabaster I have been incredibly disappointed with the Mexican food in the area. I finally figured out I just need to go to the trucks in the area or to Pelham. This is by far my favorite little place to eat by me if I'm craving some tacos.

I live 40 mins away but anytime I’m close to this side of town I have to grab some tacos. Guy at the front is always friendly, great customer service and the food is delicious!

Just went to get burger King and saw this truck. So myself and two others decided to try this and man. The guy at the window made no hesitation to help and be cool. The food from all orders was delicious and filling. Definately gonna get from them again.

Hi I'm Max and I'm a taco addict. Tacos El Tio is my favorite al pastor taco I've ever had at any taco truck, Mexican restaurant or friends house period, of all time. The family that runs this truck are always sweet, kind and helpful. My go to is 8 tacos Al pastor, 4 guacamole cups, 4 crema cups and 4 pico cups, The orange habanero salsa, rice and beans. Happy camper for at least 2 days. Everything reheats really well in an oven in a foil wrap.

Best thing was the fajita burrito . I also got the chicken taco, chorizo quesadilla, tripe taco and tongue taco. Hubbie got the weird stuff . He liked the tongue better than the tripe. Its really hard to make tripe taste good. My taco was just plain chicken , wrapped in 2 corn tortillas. I added the green sauce was good. Was sorta disappointed in the plainness though. Need toppings for real. Chorizo seemed a bit salty . I get chorizo at the Mexican store in Alabaster doesnt taste this way . Was way greasy but chorizo is a bit this way . Thats why you you drain it. All in all ok . Been wanting to go to a taco truck for ages. Was the only one open around. Spent around 30ish dollars. A bit high to me!!

This has quickly become a regular stop for me. Delicious tacos on my way home. The steak are my fave! I recommend stopping by on your way home to check them out!

I assumed this place would offer basic tacos since I always see it parked at Advance Auto Parts, so I bought 1 shrimp taco to try it. It was incredibly good! Beef and chicken tacos are $3 and all the other meats are $4. They also have burritos, quesadillas, and tostadas. I highly recommend this truck. The food is tasty and convenient.
