Should have looked at reviews before we went. Honestly this place was confusing and I’m so thankful Albertville doesn’t get that many tourists. We went here on a Thursday night and the place was BUZZING people wise. I honestly think I we paid about 52$ for just the atmosphere alone because everything else but our lovely waitress was lackluster. I ordered the Cajun pasta and to be honest I didn’t taste anything Cajun in the pasta at all. My partner ordered a buffalo sandwich and the chicken wasn’t seasoned, the bread was dry and there was just a smidge of the buffalo. Honestly the best part food wise was the salad. For a place called bootleggers I was expecting a more southern type of comfort food experience but I was let down by a poorly done attempt at fast, frozen, definitely NOT Italian food. ( also I’m probably going to have to go to the doctor to get checked because my stomach has been a mess since eating there ). Hopefully the cooks and waitresses get their good grievances because that’s probably the only thing holding the place together community wise.

The pizza was just so so. We ended up picking the toppings of and eating it that way. They needed more cooking time. Now the salad bar was something else. Very, very good. If we go back, I'll try one of their sandwiches or something. Service was outstanding and atmosphere was great

Loved this place! We came in from out of town to see a show at the amphitheater. We made sure to get there around 4:30 to beat the dinner crowd (no clue how it is at dinner time).. we were seated right away. We ordered the pretzel for an app and it was Delicious! The. Ordered a large Dillinger pizza. It was very delicious also! Would 100% go back! Staff was very friendly. I believe the owner even checked on us.

My first visit was great. Our waitress was great and all the food was very good. If you haven’t been to Bootleggers you need to go.

Absolutely wonderful waitress.... loved the pizza and it was out in no time. the waitress even asked if we would like a certain pizza put out..... like I said , it was out in no time. Their Alfredo was real Alfredo, and tasted absolutely amazing to me . I'll be back. Thanks again y'all. Salad bar even looked great!

Appetizers came with the meal (not before the meal). Ordered Blue Moon beer no orange or frosted glass. Fettuccine noodles way way overdone. Wife ordered spaghetti with sauce on the side did not come that way, spaghetti was drowned. As far as going back, we don’t think so.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. The Alfredo was bland and flavorless, and the Cajun Alfredo had no Cajun taste whatsoever — plus, it came without the sausage it was supposed to have. They charge an extra $6 for the tiniest portion of chicken on the chicken Alfredo. Even the water tasted like dishwater. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

This was my husband’s and my first visit to Bootlegger’s, and it will definitely not be our last!

We started with the garlic knots, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The marinara dipping sauce only amplified that flavor explosion. My husband ordered the stromboli with banana peppers—something I don’t usually enjoy—but it was so good that I would happily order it for myself next time.

For my entrée, I went with my usual Italian favorite: chicken parmesan. It did not disappoint. The portion was generous—I took home three-quarters of my plate for the next day’s lunch, and I wasn’t complaining! The chicken was thick, tender, and moist, paired perfectly with a side of pasta that rounded out the meal beautifully.

We couldn’t leave without dessert, so we grabbed a slice of crème brûlée cheesecake to go. Of course, we had to sneak a bite before heading home—and wow! It was divine. The caramel topping had a satisfying crunch, the fresh whipped cream added just the right touch, and the crust was perfection—still firm and not soggy even the next day.

Our server was very helpful with recommendations and very attentive. We never wanted for a thing. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu!

This unique Italian restaurant is located in a popular part of town. There is parking on the street in front but lots more parking in a large back parking lot. The inside is beautifully decorated and smells wonderful when you walk in.
We came here for pizza and we found pizza. We watched the dough being made right in the open kitchen right beside the Hugh oven that they are cooked in. We got the Bugsey loaded with meat veggies and cheese. Delicious!
The server suggested the cheese sticks, pizza dough loaded with melted cheese and garlic, you have to try them.
We finished with the chocolate cake that is so light it melts in your mouth and cheese cake drizzled with caramel. Both were the perfect end to a perfect meal.
We both love pasta, so we will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Alfredo bread bowl literally had no sauce on it. The chicken tasted like strait black pepper. It wasn’t hot. Daughter had chicken parm. The spaghetti was full of water and wasn’t very hot either. Don’t think we will be back. Total waste of $50.

We ordered wings and all we got were drums. The Alfredo had very little sauce and had no taste. Wasn't impressed with the chicken parmesan. Pizza was great. Our server was well.
