I got the manicotti and it was some of the best that I’ve ever had! Y’all really know how to do classic Italian!! Mater’s is a must!!
Friends and I were talking about restaurants. And I gladly put this place over Perry’s in Birmingham. This is a good restaurant!!! This was the last place me and my nana ate before I lost her! This restaurant has a special place in my ❤️. Thank you maters!

Based on the reviews, Mater's | Pizza & Pasta Emporium is a delicious and must-visit restaurant. The food and service are always excellent, making it a great experience every time. The manicotti is some of the best ever, and the pizza is amazing, fresh, and has great toppings with extra cheese. The Better Boy medium pizza is plenty for two people. The staff is extremely nice. There is plenty of parking with big spaces. The restaurant has a special place in the heart of some customers. It is a bit of a drive but always well worth it. Some reviewers noted the staff did not know the history of the restaurant, but the pizza is so good they will be back. Mater's is a little pricey, but when the food is this good, it is worth the splurge.
