“A group of ladies came for dinner and it was delicious! Chicken and dumplings with cornbread was homemade and the fried catfish was seasoned well and fried crispy. Paisley our waitress was very attentive and nice.. don’t miss out eating at this gem!”

“We ate at David’s Catfish House tonight. Amazing food! Freshly made onion rings were on the menu and they did not disappoint. We also had the catfish filets, baked potato, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. The waitress was so sweet and took time to visit for a bit. We will definitely be back!”

“I LOVE the Buckboard. It truly is my favorite place to eat in Andalusia. However, the service the last few times we have been has been less than ideal. All of the waitresses who have been there a while are wonderful! The owners are SO SWEET! But they are going to lose business because of the attitude from new employees working up front.”

The food here beats any Italian restaurant anywhere! They have a friendly staff and make you feel at home. I will be returning often!”

Been here before, but this time they had a LOT to live up to. Had a steak in San Antonio Wednesday, Amarillo Thursday, Oklahoma City Friday. This 16oz ribeye beat them all. We got there in line first, got seated with no issue...all 17 of our party. Very polite folks. Thank yall!”

“Me and a close friend of mine had a lunch date today. We hardly ever get to see each other due to work and life. So when we do, we make our lunches last for hours lol. We go in and sit down and the waitress Jasmine was on the spot ready for our drink orders. She came back with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We haven't even looked at the menu yet from us talking and catching up lol. We told her no, giggling because we haven't even thought about eating, Jasmine said well that's ok I will come back smiling at us both. Alittle bit later she came back and asked again. We still hadn't looked at the menu yet. She said well that's ok just let me know when ya'll are ready. She was very plesant and never once got irritated with us. We finally ordered. I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries and it was the best Philly cheese steak sandwich that I've tasted in a very long time.The bun was soft on the outside and grilled on the inside, just the way I like mine. The fries was hot and seasoned just right. And the Margarita was on point!! We both was very pleased with the atmosphere and the friendliness of this establishment and will definitely be back.”

“I can not thank captain d’s enough I recently brought my grandfather from the nursing home to try fried oysters my lord the service was outstanding our food came out hot and fresh customer service was excellent there was this particular lady I think she told us she recently became general manager if I can recall if I can give that women the shirt off my back I would not only was her customer service excellent she helped my grandfather with all his concerns . 10/10 experience we will be back ❤️”

“Staff very pleasant. No prices listed for sandwiches so we were shocked when are total came up to $40 for 2 sandwiches 2 drinks and 2 chips. When I made a remark they retotaled the amount and it turned out to be $30. Food wasn't bad but not great. Certainly not worth the price.”

“The food was delicious (and the small cheese dip is enough, lol). The service was friendly. The only negative I will mention is the time it took to get our food even though it was not busy. Otherwise, all was great!”

“We have bought boiled peanuts here several times. The flavor is great but 4 out of 5 purchases were undercooked so I gave 4 stars versus 5 for this reason. I hope the owner sees this because these peanuts could be awesome if they were cooked an hour longer before pulling.”

“These people are awesome. We go late in the evening before closing, and they always serve delicious food. They are very welcoming to the children and play with them as if they were their own. We get to relax with the ordering because they give us a marker and a menu. Letting us take our time with no rush from a waitress.”

“My experience was very satisfying for a long time I have been discouraged on eating out at different places around Andalusia either the food suck or the service is horrible or u over paying and not getting what u ask for well today was a new stop for me first time customer at firehouse sub today and I can say it was the best experience ever not only was me and my husband greeted we was greeted with smiles the employees looked happy to be there and the place was clean and inviting the evening crew of Andalusia rocked not only was my food delicious it was appealing to look at and made just the way I ask thank you god for the service today it gives me hope that there is people who still care especially about how they serve food and greet people with love and kindness The love was dang sure in the sandwich and I will most definitely be back the price is worth the sandwich sign a very happy Customer Lashay Carter”

“Wasn't greeted at all. Girl at the register folded her arms and laid them and her head on the register. She never said, "Can I help you?" or "What can I get for you?" We just had to start ordering. We was asked if we wanted double fries or fries and coleslaw. Was not given another choice. In the ladies room their are 2 stalls, small and handicap, the handicap does not have a lock on the door which is a good 4 feet away from the toliet. Food was hot and as good as other restraunts in the area. We ate out of to-go boxes. Over all very disappointed. I meant to put 2 stars”
