Store was basically empty. Only 2 small bags of peas and butterbeans. No corn, orka, squash, tomatoes, etc. Boiled peanuts were very small. Have shopped there for years. Visit was a huge disappointment.

We have bought boiled peanuts here several times. The flavor is great but 4 out of 5 purchases were undercooked so I gave 4 stars versus 5 for this reason. I hope the owner sees this because these peanuts could be awesome if they were cooked an hour longer before pulling.

Great produce stand.

There were many Amish made products in the store. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure I will stop in again when visiting family in the area.

Stopped here when we saw that they had boiled peanuts. So good! Not too salty or spicy with just the right amount of sweetness. Such a nice owner too!

My wife and I stopped in for a coffee refill in the semi. Everyone was incredibly nice. The coffee was great. A gentleman thanked my wife for wearing her "I Support Combat Vets" shirt. She pointed to me and he came and shook my hand and told me "welcome home Brother." I was taken aback. I saw he was a fellow Veteran. Also combat I'm sure. I'm sure we saw the same look in each other's eyes. But no one has ever told me that. I didn't know what to say and I know I stuttered in my reply. Sir, thank you. Thank you for being among the men who set the example for me to follow.

This business has closed and the location has a new owner, Aunt E's Kitchen & Market.

Owner is a wonderful woman and hard worker!! Ice-cream is great and kid approved. Boiled peanuts are a fresh must have!! Lots of fresh produce and canned goods available. Also have plenty of bait on hand.

Although we used to enjoy driving two hours from out of town to enjoy the fresh home cooking, we looked up the hours today, drove two hours and learned it has been closed for over two years. When a business shuts down it is the owners responsibility to also update its listing. The lady working in the attached market next door was not the most inviting person in customer service. Came across rude and dry. Not worried about providing a svc rather staring in her phone and talking on the phone about person events in her life . And I’m not talking about a young lady…
