I ordered food through Uber eats. 1st off, idk if at 6pm Friday evening was close to closing time or what! But, I had a 4 items ordered. #1 a 4 piece whiting plate with 2 sides. It was supposed to have a cup of collar greens and the other with turnip greens#2 a 2 piece catfish plate with Mac& cheese and potato salad # 3 was a 6 piece whole wings. Now, the 6 piece wings had only 3 in the container. The 2 piece catfish was just one whole catfish... Horrible! Worst experience ever on Uber eats. I do not recommend this restaurant ?

Walked in, only person there! I was shocked, this was a Friday afternoon. I looked at the menu and for some reason i looked up the reviews on Google I saw several people saying there food tasted pre-cooked and refrigerated like it had just been microwaved!! Macaroni tasted sour ?♂️ I left and didn't turn back lol! No ty! Sad I didn't get any soul food that day ?

The Mac and cheese was sour obviously sat in the fridge and was reheated in the microwave. The yams was not good at all and the greens weren't seasoned. The catfish looked and tasted as it was refried twice.The banana pudding was old, mushy and disgusting looking. The wings my husband had to add seasoning and the corn bread was sour and had the refrigerator taste to it. Thats what my husband said and he not talking about my cornbread.

Soul food can be had here, but it’s not worth the waiting and drive from Hoover. Being from New Orleans my wife’s cooking has more flavor, but when you just don’t feel like cooking, this can be a good substitute, if you don’t mind waiting.
