This place is so good. The staff was kind and friendly and the food was great. We each had a meat and two veggies today, and everything was cooked perfectly. Like my mommas cooking. We will be back.
I've been wanting to try this spot for the longest and finally was able to stop by today. It's a nice cozy place with a welcoming staff. I ordered a meat and two sides (fried catfish, mac n cheese & cabbage). I had to meal to go. I really enjoyed the meal. If you're ever in Bessemer, AL I highly recommend going to the back porch. Great comfort food with a family feel. You can get two meats and two sides. This particular time I ordered the meatloaf , collard greens , black eye peas, and a slice of Jalapeño cornbread. The food was delicious and the service was great.
