They were only offering takeout when we arrived for Sunday lunch, so we enjoyed our food in a nearby park.Pork chop, fried chicken, green beans, peas, corn, sweet potatoes, cornbread -- everything was good.
Saw this place had good reviews and wanted to see for myself. Happy I did. Got a pork chop, Mac and cheese, yams and cornbread to go. When I got home I took one bite of each and did a little dance. Damn… everything was good. Will go back again and highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. It had been a while but after a few years hiatus, the food was still excellent. We had the oxtails and meatloaf, both of which were perfect. And for it not to be a main attraction, the hot water cornbread is outstanding.
