“Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!“
“We haven’t been here since it first opened maybe 2 years ago. We tried it Wednesday and had great food, service, and drinks. The margarita was awesome, and so was the Salmon salad and hamburger steak. We went back Friday and had a similar experience.The only complaint I have is they still have no background music. Maybe that is by design, but it just feels like something is missing.We will keep coming back.“
“Such a special gem in the city of Birmingham! The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. You could tell the food was cooked with love. This place was packed and the service was still awesome. Most importantly, people of all ages and from all walks of life were enjoying their meals here. To me, that's what good ole southern comfort food does.. bring people together!“
“My family and I enjoyed the food and service at Saltgrass. Nick was our server and he was excellent. What I most loved about Nick was his attention to every detail. He was knowledgeable about the food selections and drinks. He made sure to treat us as if we were the only family dining today. He was patient and attentive. We never felt rushed, although the restaurant was packed with people. Nick rocked!!“
“Overall great experience, the service wasn’t the best but I have worked in the restaurant industry for 20+ years and covid changed things, so therefore I don’t really rate restaurants based on service anymore because they work short handed more often than not, but the food was amazing, best steak I’ve had in a long time. I am a manager at one of the best restaurants in the state and our steaks are amazing but I really enjoyed a steak other than ours for a change. It had the best flavor and cooked to perfection. It well exceeded any and all of my expectations.“
