The spot is a vibe, and the people are super sweet, though sometimes bored. The ribs and mac were okay, but the loaded potatoes were dry. However, if you want to kick it with strong drinks and great conversation, this is a nice place.

This place is very clean and excellent for dining in or outside on the patio, giving you that backyard comfort. The BBQ Ribs are hot and fall off the bone tender, like they came straight off the grill, with the Best BBQ sauce. The manager and employees went "Above and Beyond" to make the customer feel so special, like family, with their smiles and greetings. BBQ Sam's BHAM serves the "Best BBQ Ribs & Soul Food in Birmingham" at a reasonable price, providing a Down-Home Spiritual and Soulful experience.

The owner, Eric, greets the customers with wonderful customer service. They've been open for 2 years and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and offer soul food on SUNDAY. The ribs and leg quarters are AMAZING, seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the sides were gone in no time. BBQ Sam's has a bar and outside dining, and the owner's father, Mr. Sam, would be extremely proud of him.
