Our party of 4 got the sampler platter, fire wings, lemon pepper wings, fries and the "My ex-girlfriend sister salad". The salad was great. The fries were good (frozen zesty fries?). I ordered okra but never got it. The sampler was good. The wings? Definitely not a do-over. The lemon pepper wings weren't just tossed in seasoning, they were drowning in it. The bottom of the plate looked like a sand pit and the wings were so dry! The service was just okay. We had to flag down our server for drinks twice. It was busy. I get it, but a bit more service would have been nice.

Everything was great. Food, service and drinks. Only criticism is that the men's bathroom needs serious attention, broken tile, a chunk out off the wall and just looked dirty.
Fantastic establishment. Great selection. Great servers. Super diverse group of customers. Favorite spot for sure.

This is the second time I've eaten BMBG, first time at this location. Service and atmosphere is top notch. The food is SO good. App platter and chicken tacos are pictured. Comic themed tables are awesome!
A friend brought me here shortly after moving to the area, and I keep coming back because of the unique Disgraceland burger, with peanut butter and jelly, and an egg, and bacon, on a normal burger. An odd combo that I surprisingly like! Some unique Sunday brunch options I'm starting to try out too. My only complaint is the music can be very loud, but then, it is a bar, and there's a reason (music for one) I normally avoid them. The food makes an exception in this case!

I love this place, my friends and I come several times per month. The vibe is relaxed and fun, great patio, beer and drinks are reasonably priced. The burgers, wings and sandwiches are good bar style options if you're hungry. I've been coming to BMB since it opened and enjoy myself every time.

I was today years old the 1st time I tried a burger from Black Market. Up until today I've only eaten brunch from here. My wife & fellow foodies have been telling me how good the burgers are here. I ordered The Black Marker Burger featuring mushrooms, bacon, spinach, onions & muenster cheese with a side of onion rings. It also had some sort of white, grainy sauce on the top bun that I could not place, but it was good. I really enjoyed this burger. It was thick, juicy & reminded me of a "backyard bbq burger". Cooked to a lovely medium. Not only were the burger patty & toppings delicious, the bun was excellent too...like, so much so it's worth mentioning. Great onion rings. Nice & crisp. My wife had The Bulldog featuring fried chicken breast topped with Black Market's "Halo the Horrible Sauce", lettuce & tomato (86 provolone cheese) with a side of fries. It's more accurate to call the "chicken breast" chicken tenders, but they lose no points because they're fantastic. Really good quality tenders with a mild yet flavorful sauce. The fries are exceptional too. They appeared to have a light batter on them. We got our meals to go so we could enjoy a lazy day at home watching Christmas movies. Presentation was surprisingly on point for takeout. Everything looked appetizing from the jump &, as they say, "you eat with your eyes first." Black Market definitely makes a solid burger. I'd say it's somewhere in my "top 10 burgers of Bham" list. I'm glad I tried something other than brunch from here! The service for to go was friendly & they got everything in our orders correct. Will definitely continue to dine here/get takeout. I'm a huge fan of the alternative atmosphere & drink specials.

Good place to hang out. The burgers are great here. My burger was perfectly cooked and the fries were delicious too. We were there on a night it was crowded, so had to stay outside in the cold for awhile. The only disappointment was there were no heaters. There was one there, but no one knew how to turn it on. Otherwise, we lucked out and got a table inside after a few minutes. The night ended with bingo which is goo to win prizes. Good bar and grill to hang out in.
