I got the red curry tofu and it was amazing. All the veggies in it tasted super fresh and a good amount of heat. The woman who took my order was extremely kind. It's more of a pickup style place than dine-in, but they do have one table inside and a couple outside. I love Asian food, and have worked in several Asian restaurants, and I would recommend this place over others that I've had in the Birmingham area. It was a large serving of food as well.
I love soup szn! The wonton soup from Black Pearl Asian Cuisine is delectable. Large pork wonton in a flavorful broth topped with a dash of chili oil. Perfection in a bowl. Service at Black Pearl is always friendly, quick & efficient. I consider them more of a takeout spot, but I do believe dining in is an option. The atmosphere is comfortable & casual. Extensive menu. I've been happy with every dish I've tried from here so far. One of my neighborhood favs.

I recently went to Black Pearl in Birmingham and it was outstanding. The Mongolian Beef was flavorful, the dumplings were a delight, and the Egg Drop Soup was perfectly seasoned. What made the experience even more special was the excellent customer service and the owner, Michelle, who was incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend for a top-notch dining experience!
