It was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The staff is sweet and country in nature. The crowd seemed more retired and middle-aged.I got the Yankee Omlette with grits and toast and it was better quality than Waffle House. Would go again for a quiet breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast one cold morning while visiting family in the area, and absolutely fell in love with Bogue's! Simple menu but excellent food... and wow, those amazing sweet rolls from Ella!!

In the past this restaurant would go out of the way in comfort serving up cinnamon rolls, not anymore from sit down to ordering 25 minutes from ordering to food 35 minutes and it was cold eggs were luke warm to cold and cinnamon buns 2.00 each and small size of half dollar even cost is extremely too high based on everything avg two visits 18.00 ea person , so slow to no service had to run to lady to get refill skip this place oh and did I mention clean nope toilet still busted spraying water on floor from 3 weeks ago last visit, nasty yes and this is my last visit

A great breakfast with a at home feel . Them french toast are seasoned perfect. Excellent hospitality ..I loved our waitress she had a big sense of humor & was very pleasant..Thank you guys . We will be back ??

Food was bland no taste customer service was awful never came to our table but to take our order and bring our food. She completely ignored us when trying to get a straw and ketchup. She didn’t even come to give us our bill we had to go to the front and repeat our order to pay. The restaurant was dirty and flies and gnats flying around completely disgusting.

Best breakfast in Birmingham, hands down. It reminds me of breakfast at my Great Aunt Mabel’s house when I was a kid. Plus, everyone who works here is a character.Is it speedy? Not really.Is there a long wait? Usually.Is it awesomely delicious? Absolutely.
Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. Our waitress was Kelly and she was so nice! We highly recommend this place for a good breakfast. My husband said the place would make you hurt yourself cause the food was so good!

It's been well over 5 years since I've been to Bogues restaurant. I decided to go have breakfast new years eve. One of the waitress I remembered, is still working there. She said she's been working there 44 years! ? I almost couldn't believe it until I googled to see how long Bogue's restaurant been in business. Fun facts! It's been around since 1938!! Wow! Sooo about my breakfast! I ordered the breakfast plate. As you can see from the picture I posted , the presentation of my food was great, but the grits were luke warm and so the cheese wouldn't melt! ? All of my food was lukewarm and had to be remade. ? The remade version was perfect.? My friend ordered the veggie omelette. He said it was ok. I will be going back, but it will be awhile.?
