Delicious food but doesn't deliver on value. The red beans and rice were the best thing we ate, and the seafood gumbo had a great flavor. The oysters were the smallest that I've ever had, and there was no sausage in the bowl of Chicken and Sausage gumbo. Small portions for the price. Everything was delicious, but we felt like we overpaid for what we got. I would give the food 4 stars if the portions were larger.
I was seated by a host. It was 10 minutes before my waitress came & asked what I would like to start off with. She was very polite and very nice. She checked on my more than often which was a good thing. The food came out 15 minutes after i ordered. I ordered the boiled shrimp which was steamed a lil too long because it was hard to peel the skin off which made the shrimp tear but not too much but I had to eat some with the skin attached. Holy moly!!!
These new sliders are absolutely to DIE for. I know what you’re thinking… sliders from a Cajun place, weird combo. We ordered the bbq pork sliders they were topped with cheese and fried jalapeños. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. The fried jalapeños gave a little crunch which was great as well. We will definitely be coming back for the sliders and a hurricane, of course!
