I ABSOLUTELY love this place. Never had a bad food experience - ever! And the portions are so big. The bread - oh that bread 🤤🤤 is everything!!!

Man. I used to LOVE costa’s about 15 years ago when it was out by the galleria mall. I got the calamari frequently almost once a week. So I saw this one out in trussville and got excited.
First off NO ONE. Was there I thought it was closed. Went in no one was at any of the tables. The placed smell old and moldy and dusty. The calamari was a bit pricey. $16.95 but I remembered it being sooo good. I got it. I brought a menu from the front door to the back and the cashier asked me where I got it from as if I needed to take it back myself? I should have canceled my order then. No utensils no napkins and the calamari tasted old and frozen. Honestly I had some a couple weeks ago at Olive Garden it was better. This place must be a front for money laundering cuz they are making no money. Its garbage. I will never go back. It is not the costas of old. And that’s sad. Cuz that place was really good.

Costa's Mediterranean has a long history going back to it's original Huffman location. My wife loves the baked spaghetti. We always get the spaghetti for 1. It's enough for 4 people and we make nearly 3 meals out of it for ourselves. Rarely eat inside. Normally take it to go and still plenty hot when we open it at the house. Their service is speedy. Their customer service is ok. The lady can be a curt over the phone, but after sitting in the pick up area for my food... it sounds like most always have similar questions... But they are always willing to give you the best good quickly. Their prices are always a bit high (even before 2020), but rest assured their food normally is always hot, cooked, tasty and seems to be high quality. We always go back we have a hankering for angel hair baked spaghetti. They will change the noodle size based on preference!

Food great, radio loud , our salad bowl was cracked on the bottom and leaked dressing all over the table. When I got the waitress she just got some paper napkins and threw them on the table The waitress stood over me the whole time I was trying to count my money. She invaded my space and I didn’t appreciate it. We were celebrating our anniversary so we came away Saying we won’t go back.

I really surprised at some of the bad reviews. Maybe they had a one off experience, but we have been eating here for 6+ years. We eat in several times a year and get take out another 6+ times a year for ourselves or group gatherings. The food is plentiful (the lasagna for 2 lasts my wife and me 3 meals), the prices are reasonable (actually cheap considering the amount of food) and the service is great 90% of the time. The dining area may be a little dated, but we don't go for the scenery. If you eat at Olive Garden, that is like comparing McDonalds to a real restaurant. The food is MUCH better and oh so plentiful.

Costa’s food and prices are hard to beat!! Some of the best take out food you can get!!However, their dine in service could better. I have dined in with my mom and sister a handful of times. Every time we seem to be one of only two of three other tables in the restaurant.. I would truly hate to see this wonderful restaurant go out of business due to poor service.
