The restaurant offers a unique salad slicing style and fresh, chilled greens. With arcade games and draft beer, it's a great place for families. The food is great, with fresh ingredients and hot dishes. The customer service is top-notch, and the restaurant is always clean. The servers are polite, respectful, and attentive. Small pizzas are enough for two people, and the Italian sausage is a favorite. Davenport's has an authentic, old-school Italian pizzeria feel, reminiscent of the Northeast.
The Cauliflower meat lovers pizza is yummy, hot, fresh, not greasy or heavy, and enough for three adults. Prices are fair, and timing for pickup is prompt. The waitress was pleasant. The pizzas are not a ton of bread with a bit of toppings but a perfectly thick crust with abundant toppings, so much that bacon on a pizza was almost too much. Davenport's Pizza Palace is hard to set apart in the pizza industry, but it does. It is the best pizza anywhere, better than NYC, Chicago, Dallas, and Boston.
