I have been going to Davenports Pizza since high school over forty years ago. Mtn. Brook location is my favorite but the new Vestavia location serves the same great pizza. The Jim special is my go too, always get the large or you will wish you had !. Great Birmingham pizza , it’s my favorite.

This place is phenomenal. I have read articles about it in the past, and have wanted to try it for a long time. It lived up to its reputation. I love Chicago-style thin crust pizza, and I will be back. We had the Rex Pizza, a cheese pizza, and a veggies pizza. Everyone left happy.

I am a pizza person. I rarely turn down an opportunity to go get a pizza. My favorite part is to go to a restaurant order a pizza fresh and hot and enjoy it with family and friends. Recently we went out with my cousin and his wife to Davenport's. The place was packed. We got a pepperoni pizza and a sausage pizza, both thin crust cut up in random rectangles. The pizzas sat on elevated warmers about 8" above the table. The waitress was always promptly at taking care of...
