It's a hole in the wall place but the food is great. I had the cheese burger and onion rings and they were awesome. My kid had the chicken sandwich with fries and he loved it! All together with an extra side of fries I paid about $26 so it wasn't bad for the amount of food we got :)
We wanted a unique and local place. A hole in the wall if you will. The store front said this is it. When you walk in it doesn't look like a sit down restaurant, and there aren't many seats. Ms Dawson greets you from behind a wall and comes around to take your order. Plan to be patient as she cooks it fresh and is a solo operator. The burger was well worth the wait. Definitely give it a shot for lunch.. just don't be in a hurry.
I stopped at Dawsons hooing to get homemade ice cream. Howeverthe ice cream palor portion was closed down. That didn't stop me from checking out this hole in the wall (my kinda place). Ms. Dawson was extremely nice and patient wich me as i couldn't choose between a burger or fried chicken. Im so glad i chose the chicken. Omgoodness!! She cooks everything to order.
