Check to make sure your to go order isn’t missing there famous BBQ sauce before driving 45 minutes home, or you will be very disappointed with your food, and how they react when you call to tell them what happened.
Always enjoy the sauce but ribs were tough and chewy
The ribs are great! As is the banana pudding.
Called in an order at 9:20pm. They told me that they couldn't take my order over the phone because they were close to closing, and that if i made it before closing they would gladly serve me. Well I made it there right before 9:50 and everyone was frowning towards me and had a terrible attitude. Asked me if I came to pick up and order because of the time, and there was an order on the counter in a bag. One of the servers snatched it and said that it was hers and walked away with an attitude and called a heavier guy to come take my order. He asked me what did I want and I told him my order. He didn't say anything to me. Just held his hand out for my form of payment. I'm offended by this because I'm a repeat customer. Go there every Friday or every other Friday and spend 25+dollars and always tip. Then when I got my ribs, they were the most smallest ribs I've ever been served there. I always get spare ribs when I place an order for half of slab of ribs, center cut. These were more like baby back ribs and they closed afterwards so couldn't fix my order and I live and hoover and wasn't about to drive all the way back downtown over employees mistake and rudeness. I'm never going back to dreamland and will no longer have my company have them cater events that we have because of how they treated me.
Absolutely great service, and great Barbecue
If you want a legitimate southern BBQ experience, look no further! Everything was awesome. Would have liked some swag though...

Came by a few weeks ago, couldn't get in the door. So we tried again on a Sunday morning:) Walked right in and got waited on. Food came out hot and yummy! Prices are reasonable. Love the atmosphere and decor! Parking is not very abundant:(

Phenomenal BBQ and Southern Hospitality!
I had an incredible experience!
The smoky aroma hits you the moment you step inside, setting the stage for a meal that does not disappoint. The brisket was tender and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of smoky and savory flavors. The pulled pork melted in my mouth, and the house-made BBQ sauce was the perfect complement—sweet, tangy, and just a little spicy.
The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the collard greens had that perfect Southern kick. To top it all off, the banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had—light, creamy, and full of flavor.
The staff was warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. Whether you’re a BBQ enthusiast or just looking for an authentic Southern meal, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!”

This is an outstanding BBQ establishment. If ever in Birmingham, GO HERE! The meat on the ribs simply melt off the bone and are so juicy and scrumptious. We got our food to go and it was a good thing bc there was a line 15-deep to be seated. We were all very impressed. And the banana pudding—now i know why this place is known for this speciality. Very good.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, you can bring kids to this.

My experience here wasn’t pleasant. The bartender tonight took 15 min to take our order drinks, but he wasn’t too busy. The entire restaurant was served. He never introduced himself until after the drinks were served. He did not explain the menu or any specials.I didn’t bother to order from the place and left. The menu did not have brisket on it at all. Our server did not bother to help assist with much. Never will I come back here again.

We drove in from Fort Mill, SC on Friday, 11/15/24, so my teen son could experience an Alabama game. When we arrived the place was bumping and appeared to be somewhat short-staffed. This did not make our experience any less than amazing. The manager greeted us and pointed out a couple places we could sit at. He was very friendly towards us and got our drinks started and even made some small talk and jokes with us. Our server was also very kind and even indulged my teen son in some conversation about the history of severe weather in the area. The food was accurate and hot, and of course delicious! On our way out, another lady who wasn't even our server noted that she heard we were traveling and hoped we had a good rest of our night. When your employees who aren't even your server are friendly towards you, you know you've got an amazing staff that really loves people. Thank you for the awesome experience.
