I’m giving this poor review because my son just left there and you kept a nickel of his change. A nickel will not break us but you’ve kept change before and if you’re doing that to everybody then you’re stealing a lot of money from your customers NOT GOOD SIR NOT GOOD AT ALL DO BETTER OR YOU WILL LOSE

Just left this place at August 10th at 5:00 pm the food is disgusting it was cold and cheap looking I paid $35 dollars and I did not eat a plate and he still charged me full price I made him aware that I did not eat cause the food was horrible and cold he didn’t care or consider me as a customer I will never return back to this place

AVOID!!! This has to be the WORST and unreasonably expensive Chinese buffet I've ever had. My son literally ate just lo mein, and not even much of it because everything was gross, and he was charged adult price. EVERY item I tried, was either soggy or tough, clearly showing it's age. When I tried reasoning with the asian gentleman, he declared the price remains, swiped my card and walked away. $32 for me and my son to NOT eat is ridiculous. The atmosphere is dark and dated, and the 3 tables of "food" look dreary and pale. The fried rice had veggies in it that literally looked dehydrated because it was so old
Kid-friendliness: NOT kid-friendly. The "dessert was literally 3 Aldi ice cream cartons, some old pudding, typical desserts and swiss rolls... Yeah, like the boxed ones, unwrapped and set out to look fancy I guess

Ok it’s a little run down to look at. But sincerely really really good food! Constantly bringing fresh @ hot food. Excellent soup. I have NO food complaints. The family running the place is SO kind and friendly fly. If you’ve been here before I’d say give it another try! We were very pleasantly surprised

Racist owner. Makes black people pay upon seating, while any other race pays after service. First noticed when a white couple walked in and was immediately left alone, where as me and my party were stood over as he waited for a payment, before we could even see the food selection. I asked a caucasian couple behind us just to confirm my beliefs, and they were true. When we confronted the guy, his answer was simply “people like you, i go to back, come out, and they gone.” When trying to sort out a refund, they had a nasty dismissive attitude. This might not stop anybody from eating here but just keep in mind where we spend our dollars. Very discriminatory place to eat, right here.

Have eaten at east for years their buffet is one of great choices that taste good , the only downside is your timing of going to eat i.e. meaning that in downtimes the buffet gets a little less than desirable, but when they start cooking the fresh food and it’s hot and just put out on the bar, it is one of the best in Birmingham and surrounding areas including all of those large buffets that has tons of things that just really know more than taste all the same east buffet always has good flavor in each different type of dish and also reasonably priced.
