Earlier Today my husband & I had the BEST experience @encorerouge for lunch. The owner, Antoinne, and his sweet wife were an absolute delight. The customer service was A++ and the food was soooo good! ??To see this business treat their customers w/respect and appreciate our business made us so happy!I highly recommend them, and we can't wait until they start Sunday Brunch!! This pasta just didn't move me at all, but I must admit the chicken and the shrimp on it were good! I basically ate the meat off it. I think the pasta should have been cooked longer, and maybe the sauce could hv been creamier, not so thick. I love a good daiquiri, but that was a slushy. Not to mention, I DID NOT TIP the young lady at the bar, and when the charges went thru my account, it showed $8 instead of $6.

Great food and not to far a walk from the uab hospital area. Prices are about what you'll find everywhere. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was delicious seasoned well and sauced well too.

The food is great, customer service is good but could definitely be better. You walk up to order then sit down at a table. They have a no refunds sign where you order so definitely make sure you get your food. Prices are pretty decent and the portion sizes are good. Definitely enough to split. My friend and I got The Cajun chicken and shrimp Alfredo, Rockefeller fries, hot lemon pepper wings, & 2 frozen strawberry lemonades. It totaled to about $60. We split the food and had leftovers! No wait for the lemonades, pasta and fries. Those came out instantly! We had to wait an hour and 15 for the wings. We had to remind the employees twice and since there were no refunds we just took those to go. Other than that, It's a good atmosphere. I love that it’s a black owned business. It’s a vibe in there.

After following the food truck for over a year, the brick and motar location leaves a lot to be desired. The pasta I ordered was overcooked and extremely dry; what little sauce there was on my pasta was lumpy, tasteless, and not heated through (the pics show it all). Plus, the music and vibe of the restaurant may be better suited for a night crowd as I found the music too loud and the vibe chaotic during what was supposed to be a relaxing lunch.
