We ordered pancake tacos, biscuit sausage and gravy, an omelet, and French toast kids meal. The food was delicious and filling. The grits were so delicious - the perfect blend of creaminess and cheese. We sat on the patio, which was nice. The mimosa flight was good - it was great to try out different flavors and you can customize the flight with whichever flavors you like. The only bummer was that they were out of fried green tomatoes.Service was good. The staff was very nice and pleasant! If we’re ever in the area again, I’m sure we’ll return!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere.

My husband and I are regulars at FBC, and have sampled most menu items. The Pancake Tacos are amazing, especially if you're a fan of sweet and salty combinations, and the potatoes, "moondusted" with salt and herbs, are a really nice accompaniment. The sausage is chicken and sage, a little different from the usual, but it's nicely seasoned and pairs well with eggs, as does the bacon, which is crispy without being overdone. The star of the show is the biscuit of course, served with apple butter.Even if the food weren't exceptionally good, the excellent customer service keeps us coming back because everyone of the staff members are friendly and accommodating. There's a nice outdoor seating area for warmer weather, and cool murals painted everywhere; FBC is a fun, upbeat place to eat and socialize.
Food and service are good. If you go on a weekend, be prepared for a wait.

The atmosphere was neat. I loved the decor and it was very clean. The food teeter between cold and warm. The waitress never came back to check on us. Our order was not correct, but she wouldn't know because once she came back (and saw we had not eaten it) she would talk over us when we tried to tell her. We never got any drink refills. She was in a huge hurry to get us out of the restaurant even though there was no one waiting.

We were there for breakfast. The first waffle was so cold that butter didn't even soften on it. They cheerfully replaced it but that one was raw batter in the middle, undercooked. The egg and bacon sandwich was okay but not warm, cheese was a slice of American cheese that was cold and the sandwich was not warm enough. Maybe we were there on a bad day but it will be unlikely that we will return.

For my first experience, the waffles were amazing. The gravy wasn't my style, but I'm sure others might like it. Unfortunately, the waitress we had was not great. She was not that attentive and wasn't really warm or friendly. Maybe she just wasn't having a good day. The 2nd time, we just decided not to eat there because the hostess was just so unpleasant, and we didn't want to wait an hour just to potentially have another bad service experience. I will probably try one more time before I give up entirely. Good food isn't enough to combat poor service and unfriendly interactions with the staff. We ended up at baha just next door. Which I highly recommend. Excellent burger and super friendly staff.

Service is absolutely horrible. 1 1/2 hour wait with 7 tables open just waiting to be bussed, but the two females at the front desk could not be bothered.Plus the entire patio was open….hmmm on a busy weekend ? I guess $ is not an issue for this establishment.If you can ever get seated the food is good though. Good luck!!!!
