Wonderful find! We are new in the area and just stumbled upon this dining gem through Open Table. Wonderful dinner. Lentil loaf is fabulous. Fried green tomatoes outstanding. Bread pudding wonderful. Service exceptional. Will definitely be back for another lovely evening.
We had a marvelous dinner with out of town guests o. A Friday night. Food was amazing as usual.
My overall experience is always 5 stars. My favorite dining spots. The food and service never disappoints me.
We had the best server Marge. She was fantastic. We will be back. Beautiful place inside and out.
We have intended to go since it reopened but never got around to it. Valet is out front on a busy street where some poorly dressed individuals took our car and "demanded" to know whether we had reservations - we did. Inside, we were quickly offered a two-top and were told we couldn't have the nearby booth because of reservations. Five minutes later, a couple was seated in the booth. Our waitress was sweet but unprofessional. We ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer -that came cold. Bread came with a tiny pat of butter. We requested more and got it after the entree was served. I ordered the strawberry salad as my entree - it was good. My husband ordered fish & chips, on assurance that the fish was black grouper - batter tasted old and the fish was very fishy. For dessert, we ordered one bread pudding and one banana pudding - got two banana puddings. Finally got the bread pudding - both were rather tasteless. Final complaint, when the bill came we were charged for a bottle of wine - my husband had one glass. Couple of comments unrelated to food or service - the toilets wouldn't' flush in the ladies room and when the valet brought our car, he pulled up on the wrong side of the street facing oncoming traffic. Good luck!
Service was amazing and the food was delicious! We had a wonderful time and the staff made us feel special. We will definitely be back soon!
A beautiful venue with a great cocktail selection, wine list, and rotating seasonal dishes.
Exceptional staff, service, and food. They took care of our party (with very young babies) very well. Above and beyond!
Great dining experience. Small rooms, quiet atmosphere so we were able to talk to each other during dinner. I had the Merret Stack, which was shrimp, crab cake and filet mignon. The filet was done perfectly. The wife had the veal osso bucco. It was very good. We will definitely return.
The restaurant was hot and never really cooled down. Water service was lukewarm which didn't help. Food was average at best. Great setting and ambiance.
Restaurantji Recommends
We celebrated our 27th Anniversary with a visit to Galley and Garden and what a beautiful home/restaurant. Everything about the evening was perfect and our server Amber was fantastic. Would highly recommend!!
I so wish I had read reviews before I went to this restaurant, it was terrible. There were Five of us and no one got good food!!! I spent $600 and only thing that was good was the wine. I would never go back. The parking attendant was great.
Overvalued for what you recieve. They did give a complimentary dessart for my wife's birthday.Scallop dish only had 3 scallops. Not much veal on the shank dish.
Amazing service, delicious food and wine pairings, and beautiful environment. Very special place!
Love the food and staff here! The cocktails were incredible, Megan the bartender is one of our favorites. The valet was super kind, even walked us to our car with an umbrella in the rain. The food was incredible, best chopped romaine salad (obsessed with the buttermilk dressing) and the lobster ravioli was probably the best that I've had. Could not recommend more highly.
