We have gone to Freddy’s many times and always had an amazing experience! The service is always amazing, the wine plentiful, and the food delicious and consistent. We had a party for my husband’s birthday this past weekend and were so impressed by the execution of service. If you want to be truly taken care of, come to Freddy’s!
I love this place, the outdoor seating is amazing with great views of Highland Avenue. The server was outstanding and attentive. The only issue was the food selection. I was here a while back and a charcuterie board was on the menu, also a cheese board. Those options are now gone, being replaced with hot dogs...... Mmmmmmm. Also bread and butter, Hummus and olives. I would absolutely go back if the owners would step up the menu. It really is a nice spot with great service.
Freddy’s Wine Bar is a solid spot in Birmingham. The place has a chill vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. They have some really unique wines by the glass that are worth trying. The bolognese was rich and tasted great with the wine. Their whiskey selection is surprisingly good too. I really liked the outdoor seating — it’s a nice spot to hang out.
