So much more than Just a Sandwich!! I've been dying to try this Birmingham staple. The Garage was originally a storage spot for leisure cars back in the day when people didn't have 3 car garages. During our visit to the city, we were looking for a place to have a light meal and some drinks. This spot was recommended to us by someone in our group and it truly lived up to the hype. Our experience was fantastic - the food was delicious, the ambiance was incredible, the service was excellent, and they had a great selection of drinks. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Birmingham.
One of my top spots in Birmingham for a beer and a sandwich. The back courtyard is the real gem—perfect for cooling off on hot days, and on colder nights, the lights and laid-back decor give it a cozy, romantic vibe. My go-to is the Fritz sandwich. It’s so good, and you can easily split it between two people if you're just after a light snack.
